Event description: 

We are excited to announce that in lieu of our annual in-person symposium, the Center for Evolutionary Materials will host via Zoom a New Frontiers in BioInspiration Series to encourage intellectual stimulation and promote interdisciplinary collaborations.

June 22: Joan Edwards, Samuel Fessenden Clarke Professor of Biology, Williams College, "Bioinspiration from ultrafast plants"

June 29: Reika Katsumata, Assistant Professor of Polymer Science and Engineering, University of Massachusetts - Amherst, “Ultrasmall nanoparticles meet big molecules: dynamics to structures”

July 6: Patricia Brennan, Assistant Professor of Biology, Mount Holyoke College, "Genital coevolution and its impact on material properties of vaginal tissues"
